Public Participation in Water Resource Management in the Pa Sak River Basin, Tan Diao Subdistrict, Lom Sak District, Phetchabun Province

This study aimed to examine the level of public participation in water resource management in the Pa Sak River Basin, Tan Diao Subdistrict, Lom Sak District, Phetchabun Province. The population consisted of 5,763 residents living in Tan Diao Subdistrict and the sample size was determined to be 399 participants. The research instrument was a structured questionnaire. Statistical methods employed for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The findings revealed that the overall level of public participation in water resource management in the Pasak River Basin was at a high level. When considering each dimension, participation in information perception demonstrated the highest mean score, followed by participation in water management approaches, while participation in decision-making showed the lowest mean score. Nevertheless, all dimensions of participation were found to be at a high level.
