Needs and Guidelines for Developing Internal Quality Assurance of School under the Office Private Education Commission in Nakhon Phanom Province

This research aimed to investigate and compare to needs and guidelines for developing internal quality assurance of school under the Office Private Education Commission in Nakhon Phanom Province. The samples of this study, obtained through multi - stage random sampling, consisted of 114 participants, including 18 administrators, 18 supervisors, and 78 teachers working in school under the Office Private Education. The instruments foe data collection involved interview forms and a set of questionnaires examining both current and desirable conditions with similar reliability values of 0.98 the research also analyzed the practice of three exemplary schools. The instruments for data collection were observation forms, questionnaires, and interview forms. Statistics employed in data analysis include frequency, mean, standard deviation, and Priority Needs Index Modified (PNIModified)
Research findings reveal that
1. The current state of internal quality assurance operations of schools is generally at a high level, and the desired state is at the highest level.
2. The comparison between the current state of internal quality assurance operations of schools classified by status, work experience and Schools size shows a statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level. and the desired state classified by status and Schools size shows a statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level. But classified by work experience shows no statistically significant difference.
3. The necessary needs are ranked from highest to lowest as follows: (1) Operations according to the educational management development plan of the institution, (2) Continuous educational quality development, (3) Monitoring the implementation results to develop the institution, (4) Setting educational standards of the institution, (5) Evaluating and inspecting the internal educational quality of the institution, (6) Developing a quality - oriented educational management development plan, and (7) Preparing self - assessment reports in order.
4. Guidelines for developing internal quality assurance operations of schools under the Office of the Private Education Commission, Nakhon Phanom Province, include three development areas: implementing the school's educational management plan, continuously improving educational quality, and monitoring operational results to enhance school performance.
