Journal of Creative Economy and Local Community Innovation
The Journal of Creative Economy and Local Community Innovation aims to publish high-quality academic and research articles in the fields of humanities and social sciences. The journal covers a wide range of knowledge areas, including creative economy, community innovation, local development, quality of life, cultural and community-based tourism, agriculture and food, community enterprises, public health, natural resources and environment, education, and community systems management.
The journal emphasizes academic works that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, with a strong focus on participatory processes, collaboration with communities, and the application of knowledge to address real-world problems and enhance community capacity in a tangible manner. It also serves as a platform for disseminating quality research conducted by academics, researchers, and practitioners, whose work can be practically applied to promote local development and sustainably improve the quality of life of the population, in alignment with the lifelong learning framework of the Learning Institute for Everyone.
Article Review Process
The Journal of Creative Economy and Local Community Innovation adopts a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other. This ensures fairness, transparency, and adherence to academic standards.
All submitted manuscripts undergo the following review process:

The editorial board conducts an initial screening to assess completeness, formatting, and alignment with the journal’s scope and publication policies.

Manuscripts that pass the preliminary review are evaluated by at least two qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

Reviewers assess manuscripts based on academic rigor, originality, appropriateness of research methodology, data analysis, and contribution to knowledge and community development.

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ and editors’ recommendations within the specified timeframe.

The editorial board reviews the revised manuscript and makes the final decision to accept, publish, or reject the article.
The decision of the editorial board is final. The journal is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality and research ethics to ensure that published works contribute meaningfully to sustainable local and social development.
Types of Articles
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Research Articles
Manuscripts that systematically present research findings using clear research methodologies, rigorous analysis, and scholarly discussion, contributing new knowledge or practical development approaches applicable to community and local contexts.
Academic Articles
Articles that analyze, synthesize, or review concepts, theories, or case studies relevant to community development, creative economy, and social innovation.
Review Articles
Articles that compile, analyze, and synthesize existing research and academic literature from both domestic and international sources, reflecting trends, bodies of knowledge, and future directions in relevant fields.
Case Study Articles
Articles presenting real-world case studies from specific areas, projects, or community development processes, focusing on lessons learned, successes, challenges, and practical applications for sustainable local development.
Language of Publication
The journal accepts manuscripts in both Thai and English. All submissions must include an English abstract and keywords to comply with academic journal standards and support international dissemination.
