Abstract

The purpose of this research was to 1) Study the current situation of educational leadership of continuing education administrators in the digital age in universities in Guangxi, and 2) Propose a model for developing educational leadership of continuing education administrators in the digital age in universities in Guangxi. This is mixed-methods research. The population consisted of 226 administrators from 10 universities in Guangxi. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a content validity index of 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.95. Data analysis employed the use of mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the overall current situation of educational leadership among continuing education administrators in universities in Guangxi during the digital age was at a moderate level (μ = 3.48, σ = 0.86). The highest level was in vision building, with a model for improving leadership among state asset managers in six areas, comprising 41 measures. These included: 7 measures supporting vision building, 7 measures enhancing exemplary behavior, 8 measures promoting team goal setting, 6 measures enhancing individual support, 6 measures enhancing intellectual stimulation, and measures to increase high performance expectations and adaptability. The feasibility assessment of the model was at the highest level, reflecting the organization's excellent management in innovative strategic planning and the involvement of all sectors in a future-oriented perspective. This aligns with the needs of society and global changes, requiring the organization to drive integrated employee learning based on quality and sustainable success indicators through continuous lifelong learning and self-development.
