THE DEVELOPMENT OF PODCAST APPLICATION INTERGRATED WITH BLENDED LEARNING TO ENHANCE ENGLISH LISTENING COMPREHENSION SKILL FOR MATTHAYOMSUKSA 6 STUDENTS

The purposes of this quasi-experimental research were 1) to examine the effectiveness of podcast application integrated with blended learning to enhance English listening comprehension for Mattayomsuksa 6 students 2) to compare English listening comprehension ability between before and after learning through podcast application integrated with blended learning 3) to study relative development score of English listening comprehension ability after learning using podcast integrated with blended learning.The samples included 40 in Matthayom 6/2 at Assumption Convent School obtained by classroom unit–based simple random sampling. Data were collected using lesson plans based on podcast integrated with blended learning and pretest and posttest, and were statistically analyzed by percentage, MEAN, standard deviation, paired t-test for dependent samples, and relative development scores. The findings revealed the following.
1) The effectiveness of podcast application integrated with blended learning to enhance English listening comprehension for Mattayomsuksa 6 students measured 81.95/83.62, with was consistent with the criteria 80/80
2) English listening comprehension ability after using podcast application integrated with blended learning was higher than before learning statistically at the .05 level of significance.
3) The samples’ relative development scores after learning the podcast integrated with blended learning measured averagely 64.21% which was at high level.
