Abstract

This research aims to: (1) investigate the perceived image of Ban Thueam Tong School among local residents, (2) evaluate public satisfaction with the school’s operations and roles, and (3) analyze the correlation between the school’s image and public satisfaction. This quantitative study utilized questionnaires to collect data from a purposive sample of 160 residents. Data analysis included descriptive statistics (mean, percentage, and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation).

The findings revealed that the overall school image was at the highest level (equation = 4.80), with the highest-rated dimensions being acceptance (equation = 4.88), faith (equation = 4.83), and credibility (equation= 4.67). Similarly, public satisfaction was at the highest level (equation = 4.83), particularly in public relations (equation = 4.93), student quality (equation = 4.92), and educational processes (equation = 4.90). Correlation analysis showed positive relationships across all 28 pairs of variables, with coefficients ranging from 0.093 to 0.795, significant at the .01 and .05 levels. The study concludes that the image of public relations is a critical factor influencing community satisfaction. Effective, proactive, and consistent public relations build trust and pride, leading to greater community engagement and sustainable educational development tailored to the local context.
