Factors and Impacts of The Policy to Dissolve Small Schools on The Community, In The Service Area of Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This research aims to study 1) factors and causes of the policy to dissolve small schools, 2) effects of the policy to dissolve small schools, and 3) guidelines for organizing education in small schools in the service areas of the Educational Service Area Office. Roi Et Primary Education Area 2. This research is a qualitative. Collect information from key informants, there were 3 target groups: directors, teachers, and parents. Data were analyzed using descriptive methods. The results of the study found that: 1) The factors and causes of the policy to dissolve small schools are due to a shortage of teachers and the budget allocated by the government to schools is not sufficient. Moreover, there is still a lack of teaching media and equipment. And a study of the causes of the policy to dissolve small schools found that parents agreed to send their children to study in city schools. without considering any expenses Because they are afraid that if their children are still studying at school in the community It may result in your child not being able to read and write. 2) Impact of the policy to dissolve small schools in terms of community and society, it was found that the majority of parents in the research area work long hours and thus do not have the financial means to send their children to study in the city. Dissolving small schools is still considered unfair to the community. 3) Guidelines for organizing education in small schools found that the government should allocate more budget to schools and help with learning equipment and various media such as projectors for teaching and learning to students.
