Guidelines for the Development potential of Communiy leaders Banped Village No. 1, Banped Municipality, Muang District, Khon Kaen Province

Abstract

This research aims to study the potential of community leaders and guidelines for developing the potential of community leaders in Ban Ped, Village No. 1, Ban Ped Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province. This research is qualitative research. A total of 30 people provided information, including the mayor of Ban Ped Subdistrict Municipality, the Permanent Secretary of Ban Ped Subdistrict Municipality, village headmen, monks, community committee chairmen, public health volunteers in the women's housewife group, teachers, and citizens. The research instrument used was an interview form, descriptive data analysis. The results of the study found that 1) The potential of Ban Ped community leaders found that community leaders have the potential to develop and solve community problems. There is always a survey of problems within the community and the needs of the people. And a meeting of leaders in the village was arranged to coordinate in various matters and exchange opinions to use the plans or results obtained to further develop the community. 2) Guidelines for developing the potential of Ban Ped community leaders found that (1) the community should be developed to be strong socially and economically (2) there should be a community forum established to listen and exchange ideas between community leaders and the people in community and (3) people should be more involved in community activities and plans.
