Change Management Strategies and Innovation of Local Government Organizations in Udon Thani Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research article are 1) to study change and innovation management strategies, 2) to study factors affecting change and innovation management strategies, and 3) to study guidelines for developing change and innovation management strategies in local government organizations. Udon Thani Province area it is quantitative research and qualitative research. The sample group consisted of 400 people who were eligible to vote in Udon Thani Province and 10 people who provided interview information the tools used include questionnaires and interviews. Statistics used in data analysis include frequency, percentage, and multiple regression analysis and descriptive analysis accompanying the discussion of results the results of the research found that: 1) overall change management strategies and innovations in local government organizations were at a moderate level. They can be arranged in descending order as follows: revolutionary change aspects of evolutionary change and planned changes, respectively. 2) Factors that significantly affect change management strategies and innovation in local government organizations include creating culture within the organization (X2), learning organization (X4), setting direction (X1), process aspects. Cognitive (X6) and managerial (X9), the five independent variables had coefficients of predictors in raw scores (b) equal to .240, .203, .193, .177, and .172, respectively. And 3) there should be a need for clear guidelines for developing change management and innovation strategies. and has developed a management system that has changed by applying innovations efficiently as well as amend and improve to keep local agencies up-to-date and develop the participation of network partners to be modern and advance in innovation effectively.
