Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • During the submission process, authors are required to confirm adherence to all of the following checklist items. Failure to comply may result in the article being returned to the authors:
  • 1. Authors must confirm that the article is free from plagiarism. When citing others' work, complete and accurate references must be provided in accordance with ethical research citation practices.
  • 2. Authors must certify that the article is original, has never been published in any other journal, and is not under consideration by any other journal.
  • 3. This submission is format-free. Authors are free to prepare their manuscripts without specific formatting restrictions.
  • 4. The article must be the work of the named author(s), who all must agree to its publication in JELCS. All authors must also provide their names and emails.
  • 5. Authors must accept the terms of the review process and be willing to revise the article as recommended by the peer reviewers and the editorial board.
  • 6. Authors should provide their contact address and phone number in the ‘Message to the Editor’ field before submission.

Eligibility Criteria for Manuscripts

            The journal accepts original research articles that have not been previously published nor are under consideration by any other journal. Each manuscript must pass double-blind reviews by at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field and receive approval from the editorial board.

 

Manuscript Preparation

1. The journal exclusively accepts research articles composed in English. Authors may prepare their manuscripts without specific formatting constraints, as the submission is format-free. The manuscript length should range from 6,500 to 8,000 words, inclusive of references but exclusive of the abstract. Submissions must be provided in both .doc and .pdf formats. 

2. Manuscripts: Your article should include the following components:

    2.1 Title: The title must be clear and capture the essence of the article.

    2.2 Author(s): Provide the first names, last names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors.

    2.3 Abstract: The abstract should range from 200 to 250 words and include 3-5 relevant keywords. 

    2.4 Main Content: In order, the structure should include:

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review
  • Research Methodology
  • Findings
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

    2.5 References: All references should be formatted following the APA 7th edition citation guidelines.

 

Submission

  1. Authors may submit their scholarly work at any time throughout the year, only through the online journal system.
  2. Upon submission, authors are required to wait for the preliminary review results from the editorial board before advancing to subsequent steps.
  3. The editorial board will update authors on the status of their manuscripts at various stages through the discussion thread associated with the article ID assigned during the initial submission. Authors are required to engage with this thread to receive feedback and must submit any revisions to their manuscripts through the same thread
