Performing Duties of Local Politicians, Bang Saphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Abstract

This research has three objectives: (1) To contextualize the performance of local politicians. Bangsaphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province (2) To identify problems in the performance of local politicians. and (3) to propose guidelines for the performance of local politicians. Bangsaphan District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. This research is qualitative research. (Qualitative research methods) mainly for additional in-depth information, 10 important key report authors, including regional government officials and local government officials and citizens with domicile research results (1) Context of performance of local politicians The results of the study showed that the criteria of (a) Municipal Act B.E. 2496 (1953) Part 3 Duties of Municipalities Chapter 1 Sub-district Municipalities (b) Sub-District Councils and Sub-District Administrative Organizations Act B.E. 2537 (1994) Part 2 Authority and Duties of District Councils (2) Problems in the performance of duties of local politicians to the people. Found all the problems. (a) Problems of performing duties of local politicians for the benefit of the people, (b) Prevention of communicable diseases, (c) Support for education (3)Proposing guidelines for the performance of duties of local politicians. Under the Act, derived from the Municipality Act B.E. 2496, Section 50, local politicians have the authority and duty to develop the sub-district both economically and economically. Society & Culture Governed by law, the municipality The duties to be done in the municipality are as follows: (a) maintaining public order (b) managing transportation (c) disaster relief (d) preventing communicable diseases (e) supporting education (f) promoting religion (g) developing Children, women, the elderly, the disabled. (h) Maintenance of moral resources. (i) Maintenance of culture (j) Maintenance of local wisdom.
