Abstract

           The objectives of this research were (1) to study the general information of Alhamdulillah rice farmers (2) to analyze costs and
returns of Alhamdulillah rice farmers. in La-ngu District, Satun Province. This research was a qualitative research. By using a specific
sampling from 30 farmers who have information and are ready to disclose accurate information in terms of expenditure, cost and
income.

           The study found that most farmers use their own land to grow rice. Most of the farmers used their own funds, 25 cases (93.33
percent), 30 farmers hired to harvest rice (100%), and for distribution channels, most farmers sold their products themselves, 19 cases (63.33 percent)

            For the analysis of costs and returns, it was found that farmers had an average accounting cost of 2,134.56 baht per rai, an
average income of 4,780.95 baht per rai, calculated as a net profit of 2,646.39 baht per rai, calculated as the rate of return on investment (B/C ratio) was 2.24 The economic costs section includes hidden costs from family labor. It has an average cost of 2,325.47 baht per rai and a net profit of 2,455.48 baht per rai. The rate of return on investment (B/C ratio) was 2.06.
