The Participatory of People To The Garbage Management In Local Administration Tambon Bangchak At Muang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province

Abstract

The objectives of this thematic paper were as follows 1) To study the people’s participation in garbage management in Tambol Bangjak municipality Mueang district,Nakorn Si Thammarat province. 2) To compare the people’s participation in garbage management in Tambol Bangjak municipality Mueang district,Nakorn Si Thammarat province in terms of sexes, ages, degrees of educations, occupations and monthly incomes as differently 3) To study of the suggestion on problems and resolutions in garbage management in Tambol Bangjak municipality Mueang district,Nakorn Si Thammarat province.The population were people who live in the area of Tambol Bangjak municipality, Mueang district,Nakorn Si Thammarat province, there are about 1,870 persons, sample size according to Krejcie and Morgan’s table measurement at the error at .05, the samples were about 317 persons, the instrument for data collection was questionnaire at the co-efficiency at .803, data analysis by package computer program. The statistics were applied as follows; frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA or F-test and to test arithmetic mean in each pair by LSD (Least Significant Difference) method. The findings were as follows. 1) The people’s participation in garbage management in Tambol Bangjak municipality Mueang district, Nakorn Si Thammarat province found that by overview was at moderate level when considered in each aspect found that the aspect of decreasing of garbage quantity was the highest mean and followed up the aspect of division of garbage and the aspect of garbage recycle use was the lowest mean respectively, classified in terms of sexes, ages, degrees of educations, occupations and monthly incomes by overview was at moderate level. 2) The comparative results on people’s participation in garbage management in Tambol Bangjak municipality, Mueang district, Nakorn Si Thammarat province in terms of degrees of educations, occupations and monthly incomes found that there were different as statistically significance at .01, in terms of sexes found that there were different as statistically significance at .05 but in terms of ages found that there were not different as statistically significance at 0.05. 3) The suggestion on problems and resolutions in people’s participation in garbage management in Tambol Bangjak municipality,Mueang district,Nakorn Si Thammarat province.The problems; there was no any campaign for garbage reuse, no selling, no budget for garbage management in community, no network connection for garbage management, no reuse of natural garbage, no division of garbage box, no information on garbage providing, no knowledge on garbage providing.The resolutions; there should have campaign for garbage reuse, there should sell garbage, there should have network connection in community, there should bring natural garbage for reuse, there should provide the garbage as separately, there should have some information on garbage providing and knowledge on garbage management.
