Development of motion graphic media to promote health tourism for the elderly.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) Study the form of public relations media for the elderly and collect health tourism data in Chiang Rai Province, 2) Create motion graphic media to promote health tourism for the elderly and 3) Evaluate the satisfaction of the motion graphic media promoting health tourism from the elderly group. For this research, a suitable public relations model for the elderly was studied and collected data on health tourism in the category of dharma therapy and beautiful garden therapy in Chiang Rai province. To create samples of public relations media promoting health tourism in the form of motion graphics that are suitable for tourists aged between 60 and 75 years old. The production has been evaluated by 3 experts: Graphic Designers, Tourism and Elderly Care. The production will then be assessed by a questionnaire from a sample of 50 elderly people. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, including mean and standard deviation. The study found that 1) Media dissemination of the elderly must exist (1) Content communicated in the language of asking and acknowledgment (2) Clear examples and appropriate font size. The top 3 health tourism destinations for the elderly, according to a survey: (1) Type of dharma therapy: Wat Rong Khun, Wat Rong Suea Ten and Wat Huai Pla Kang (2) Types of healing gardens: Doi Tung Palace, Singha Park, and Rai Ruen Rom. 2) Create motion graphics to promote wellness tourism for seniors from Photoshop and Illustrator in 6 locations based on survey data. 3) The results of satisfaction assessment on motion graphics media to promote health tourism of 50 elderly people found that the overall satisfaction with public relations media was at the high level (x̅ = 4.30, S.D.=0.69).
