Abstract

This research aimed to study Employees’ Opinions on Factors Affecting Turnover at Won Won Plus Co., Ltd. The specific objectives of the study were 1) to examine employees’ opinions on the factors affecting their resignation, and 2)to compare the levels of opinions toward these factors among employees. The research employed a quantitative methodology using a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The population consisted of 45 employees, from which a sample of 40 participants was selected using accidental sampling. The collected data were analyzed through mean, standard deviation, and t-test/ANOVA to examine differences in opinions based on demographic characteristics such as gender, age, marital status, educational level, and monthly income.

The findings revealed that, overall, employees moderately agreed with the factors influencing turnover. The most significant factors were salary, career advancement opportunities, and management policies, which strongly impacted the employees’ intention to resign. Additionally, the analysis showed that demographic differences resulted in varied perceptions toward the causes of turnover, particularly concerning age and income levels. The study highlights that dissatisfaction in salary and limited career growth opportunities remain primary drivers of turnover.

The results of this research are valuable for organizational management as they provide insights into employee perceptions, allowing companies to formulate strategies to reduce resignation rates. By improving career development opportunities, enhancing compensation structures, and fostering supportive workplace relationships, organizations can mitigate turnover and strengthen employee commitment.
