Comparison of The Rate of Return on Sale of Rubber Products Fresh Latex and Cup Lump, Thung Song District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The objectives of this research were to (1) analyze the return rate from selling the rubber in the forms of field latex and cup lump and (2) compare the return rate from selling the rubber in the forms of field latex and cup lump in Thung Song District. This qualitative research applied purposive sampling to collect the data from 60 farmers who had information and were ready to disclose accurate information regarding expenditure, cost, and income.
The study found that the rubber farmers who sold field latex produced an average of 1,721 kilograms of field latex per rai
per month. The monetary or accounting cost was 11,181.04 baht per rai per month, and the net profit was 16,913 baht per rai per
month. The net yield was 60.20, while the economic costs, including hidden costs, averaged 10,113.85 baht per rai per month, with a net profit of 6,799.14 baht per rai per month. The net yield was 24.20. The average production of cup lump lumps was 1,751 kilograms per month. The monetary or accounting cost was 10,422.58 baht per rai per month, and the net profit was 20,687.42 baht per rai per month. The net yield was 66.49, the average economic cost was 12,444.62 baht per rai per month, and the net profit was 8,242.8 baht per rai per month. The net rate of return was 26.49. The comparison result of the net return rate from the accounting and economic analyses was that selling the cup lump had a higher net return than selling the field latex.
