Building Collaboration between Community, Temple, School, and Government Agencies to Develop Love and Unity among Children and Youth: A Case Study of Wat Chonprathanrangsarit, Bangtalat Sub-district, Pakkret District, Nonthaburi Province

This research aimed to study 1) the effectiveness of building collaboration between community, temple, school and government agencies to develop love and unity among children and youth 2) the factors affecting the effectiveness of building collaboration between community, temple, school and government agencies to develop love and unity among children and youth; and 3) the guidelines for building collaboration between community, temple, school and government agencies to develop love and unity among children and youth. The research utilized the mixed methods of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. The tool used for the qualitative method was the interview with 12 key informants. The obtained data was analyzed with summarizing and interpretation of the study points. The samplings for the quantitative research were 288 local residents of Wat Chonprathanrangsarit Community, Wat Chonprathansongkhrow School Community Wat Chonprathanwittaya School Community and Pakkret Municipality. The tool was a set of questionnaires with an alpha coefficient of 0.85. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, namely, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F- test and Pearson Correlation.
The results of the research found that: 1) The effectiveness of building collaboration between community, temple, school and government agencies to develop love and unity among children and youth was at high level in all four aspects, namely, cooperation in planning, cooperation in operation, cooperation in benefits and cooperation in monitoring and evaluation, which were collaborated for the success of building unity in community. 2) The factors affecting the effectiveness of building collaboration between community, temple, school and government agencies to develop love and unity among children and youth was at high level in all four sides, namely, participation, sharing responsibilities, satisfaction, and motivation. These aspects helped promote the close connection without conflicts in community and create cooperation for quality development, and 3) Over the guidelines for building collaboration between community, temple, school and government agencies to develop love and unity among children and youth, it was suggested that all stakeholders in communities should have a say in the community development. In conducting any community projects, there is a need to make sure that the project implementers are satisfied in their tasks. Their satisfaction will guarantee the quality and the success of their jobs.
