Public participation in waste management Chum Het Subdistrict, Mueang District Buriram Province

Abstract
The objective of this research article is 1) to study the level of community participation in solid waste management, Chum Het Subdistrict, Mueang District, Buriram Province 2) To suggest a waste management system, guidelines for increasing the efficiency of solid waste storage in Chum Het Subdistrict, Mueang District, Buriram Province, a sample of 393 people according to the formula of Yamane (1973) and using the Simple Random Sampling method (Simple Random Sampling) as a quantitative research method. Use the concept of public participation in solid waste management as a research framework. The research area is in Chum Mhet Subdistrict, Mueang District, Buriram Province. The tool used in the research is a rating scale questionnaire (Rating Scale) analyzes data using basic statistics, including frequency, average, and standard deviation.
The results of the research found that 1) People's participation in solid waste management, Chum Met Subdistrict, Mueang District, Buriram Province, with a moderate overall picture with an average of 3.40 ( = 3.40, S.D. =0.305) and2) Suggestions for waste management systems, guidelines for increasing the efficiency of solid waste storage, Chum Het Subdistrict, Mueang District, Buriram Province, by suggesting that there should be garbage collection cars driving in the community in the morning of every day in order to have comprehensive waste management and must have a more effective coordination system to achieve the best results.
