Effectiveness of Huai Rat Subdistrict Municipality in Managing Elderly Welfare Allowances

Abstract

ABSTRACT

                  This research aims to 1) study the effectiveness of Huai Rat Subdistrict Municipality

in managing the elderly allowance of Huai Rat Subdistrict Municipality, 2) study recommendations for managing the elderly allowance of Huai Rat Subdistrict Municipality, Buriram Province, classified by each aspect, which consists of 4 aspects: facilities, service channels, work processes, and service personnel. The sample size was determined by using

the Krejcie and Morgan table. The sample group was 286 people. The research instrument was

a questionnaire consisting of 3 types: checklist questions, 5-level rating scale questions, and

open-ended questions. The reliability value was 0.809. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

                  The research results found that the study of the effectiveness of Huai Rat Subdistrict Municipality in managing the elderly allowance was at a high level overall. When considering each aspect, it was found that all aspects were at a high level, ranked from the aspect with the highest value to the lowest, namely, the service channels, service personnel, facilities, and work processes, respectively. As for other opinions and suggestions of the elderly towards the management of the elderly allowance of Huai Rat Subdistrict Municipality, the most numerous were that there should be a queue card system, there should be a photocopy machine service,

and there should be staff working during lunch to fully support and facilitate service users, respectively.
