Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study the level of service efficiency of academic and data processing services at Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, 2) study the factors affecting the operational efficiency of personnel, and 3) develop guidelines for improving operational efficiency. The sample consisted of 365 students from Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, obtained through stratified random sampling. The instrument used was a 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with an IOC value between 0.67–1.00 and a reliability coefficient of 0.95. The statistical methods used included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the overall operational efficiency of personnel was at a high level (x̄ = 3.96, SD = 0.72), reflecting the appropriateness of operations and the ability to respond to student service needs at a good level. Considering each aspect, all aspects were found to be at a high level, ranked from highest to lowest mean: service and convenience, personnel knowledge and skills, speed and accuracy of work, coordination and communication, and technology and information systems. This indicates that operations are consistent and systematically supportive. Comparisons revealed that students of different genders, year levels, and faculties showed different levels of efficiency. There were no statistically significant differences in opinions at the .05 level, both overall and in specific aspects, reflecting relatively consistent service standards. Recommendations include developing more modern and efficient information technology systems, improving the speed and accuracy of services, and promoting continuous personnel development to sustainably enhance the quality of service and operational efficiency of the organization.
