MAMANING HIGH -NVALUE AGRICULTURAL BUSINESSES
Keywords:
Management, agricultural commodity business, high valueAbstract
The management of high-value agricultural businesses has five characteristics : 1) Technology and innovation, 2 ) Agricultural data and information management, 3 ) Supply chain and logistics, 4 ) Finance and investment, and 5 ) Sustainable agriculture. It involves creating added value for agricultural products, which were previously sold as low-value raw materials, by transforming them through simple processes to meet consumer demand. This includes both food and non-food products. In other words, it involves managing the entire value chain, from upstream to downstream, using information technology, artificial intelligence, and business administration principles to maximize benefits and minimize costs in both agricultural management and product management, while simultaneously fostering environmental and natural awareness among farmers.
