Focus and Scope

The Journal of Education and Educational Communication is an academic journal that publishes high-quality research articles and scholarly articles in the fields of education and educational communication, encompassing curriculum and instruction, educational technology and innovation, educational measurement and evaluation, educational administration, educational psychology, mass communication for education, and information technology in education. The journal accepts Research Articles, Academic Articles, Review Articles, and Book Reviews in both Thai and English. All articles must be original manuscripts that have never been published and are not under consideration elsewhere, and must undergo evaluation by reviewers through a Double-Blind Peer Review process. The journal publishes three issues per year. The target audience comprises scholars, researchers, teachers, lecturers, and graduate students, with the objective of promoting the creation and dissemination of academic knowledge to society.

Peer Review Process

The Journal of Education and Educational Communication employs an external peer review process (Double-Blind Peer Review) whereby submitted articles undergo preliminary screening by the editor to assess alignment with the journal's scope and writing format. Articles that meet the criteria are forwarded to three reviewers from diverse institutions who are not affiliated with the author's institution to evaluate quality in terms of content, research methodology, data analysis, and citations, without disclosure of author and reviewer identities to each other. Articles are accepted when approved by at least two out of three reviewers. Reviewers provide recommendations categorized as: (1) publishable immediately, (2) publishable with minor revisions, (3) revise and resubmit for re-evaluation, or (4) reject for publication. Authors must make revisions according to the recommendations within the specified timeframe. Subsequently, the editor makes the final decision on whether the article can be published. The average review period is 8-12 weeks. The journal notifies authors of the review results via email, along with recommendations from reviewers to guide article improvements for enhanced quality.
