Enhancement and Income Increase in the Agricultural Sector of Rubber Farmers in Bakdong Subdistrict, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to identify the factors influencing the enhancement and income increase in the agricultural sector for rubber farmers in Bak Dong Subdistrict, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province. The sample size was calculated using Yamane's formula (1937) The reliability value of 95% and an acceptable margin of error of 0.05.
The statistical tools used for data analysis included mean, percentage, standard deviation, hypothesis testing, and correlation analysis using Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, as well as Multiple Regression Analysis.
Research findings revealed the following:
- The overall level of factors influencing the enhancement and income increase in the agricultural sector among rubber farmers in Bak Dong Subdistrict, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province, was found to be very high (𝑥̅ = 4.66, S.D. = 0.407). When considering specific aspects, the highest levels were found in strengthening management, resource management, and improving product standards, followed by enhancing capabilities, respectively.
- Recommendations for enhancing and increasing agricultural income for rubber farmers in the study area included: there should be efforts to upgrade the rubber industry to ensure that rubber farmers have a more stable and sustainable income.
The study also found that there is still a lack of knowledge and ability in product processing, which affects income generation. In addition, unfair selling prices were identified as a challenge. Therefore, government agencies should provide training programs to educate farmers and support the provision of technological tools for product processing, which will help upgrade product value and increase farmers’ income.
