Publication Policy - Aim and Scope:

The Journal of Research and Innovation for Sustainability (JRIS) is a bimonthly academic journal. Its primary objective is to disseminate research articles, review articles, academic articles, and book reviews. The journal serves researchers, scholars, teachers, faculty members, and students within the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences, specifically focusing on the following areas:

  1. Education: Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Administration, Special Education, and STEM Education.

  2. Political Science: Politics and Government, International Relations, Justice and Safety Administration, Political Economy, and Political Theory.

  3. Public Administration: Public Organization Management, Resource Planning and Management, Human Resource Management, Finance and Budgeting, Public Policy, and Local Government Administration.

  4. Cultural Studies: Cultural Management and Applied Culture.

  5. Linguistics: Sociolinguistics, Applied Linguistics, Linguistic Anthropology, and Discourse Analysis.

  6. Community Development.

  7. Psychology: General Psychology and Guidance.

  8. Public Health: Specifically focused on Public Health Administration and Community Public Health (excluding clinical patient treatment).

  9. Other Related Interdisciplinary Studies.

All submitted manuscripts undergo thorough peer review by 2-3 experts via the double-blinded review system. We accept articles for publication in both Thai and English.

The views and opinions expressed in articles published in the Journal of Research and Innovation for Sustainability are the responsibility of the respective authors and do not represent the views of the editorial team. The Journal of Research and Innovation for Sustainability does not claim copyright for reproduction but requires proper citation and attribution.

 

Publication Schedule

Initially, in 2024, the journal was scheduled for monthly publication. Subsequently, in 2025, the journal adjusted its publication schedule to a bi-monthly format (six issues per year), with the following publication schedule:

  • Issue 1: January–February (available on the website by February 27 or 28)
  • Issue 2: March–April (available on the website by April 30)
  • Issue 3: May–June (available on the website by June 30)
  • Issue 4: July–August (available on the website by August 31)
  • Issue 5: September–October (available on the website by October 31)
  • Issue 6: November–December (available on the website by December 31)

 

Journal of Research and Innovation for Sustainability (JRIS) Peer-Review Process:

  1. Initial Editor Assessment (1 week): Editors check format, readability, language, plagiarism (<20%), references, and citation style. Rejects occur for significant errors.
  2. Double-Blind Peer Review (1-3 weeks): 2-3 reviewers assess manuscripts (accept, minor revision, major revision, reject).
  3. Review Result Notification (1 week): Editors finalize results; only "accept" or "minor revision" proceed. "Major revision" is reconsidered. "Reject" is final.
  4. Author Revision (1-2 weeks): Authors address reviewer/editor feedback and submit revised manuscript with a response form.
  5. Revision Review (1 week): Editors verify revisions. Approved manuscripts proceed to publication.

 

Publication Fee:

The Journal of Research and Innovation for Sustainability does not charge fees to authors.
