The satisfaction of management students towards the effectiveness of teaching and learning mathematics in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the satisfaction levels of students in the management discipline regarding the effectiveness of teaching the subject of mathematics in everyday life, involving a sample size of 13 individuals. The research tool utilized was a questionnaire, and data were analyzed using basic statistical measures such as percentages, mean, and standard deviation.

The results from the research show that among a sample group of 13 individuals, it was found that management students were generally satisfied with the efficiency of teaching and learning, with an overall satisfaction level rated as high, with a mean of 4.41 and a standard deviation of 0.46. When considering specific aspects, it was found that students were most satisfied with the interaction between instructors and students, with a mean of 4.49 and a standard deviation of 0.43. Following this, student involvement had a mean of 4.49 with a standard deviation of 0.48. The least satisfaction was observed in the area of instructional media usage, with a mean of 4.34 and a standard deviation of 0.54.
