Regional Development Strategy

Abstract

The word 'development strategy' comes from the word 'strategy' meaning the ability to bring substance to the intended goal and 'development' which means better. Therefore, 'development strategy' means the ability to bring such a thing or the importance (substance) to be in a better position. The term 'regional development strategy' refers to the process of the basic development of those involved and the use of the substance of the strategy with the term 'regional development strategy' such as the Mekong Subregion development strategy, southern area development strategy, various special economic zone development strategies, spatial cooperation frameworks, special economic corridors, or specific area development issues towards the development of the well-being of people, society, communities, and the nation for the better. Therefore, giving importance to spatial strategy by defining the word 'region' is an interesting issue.

Therefore, when giving importance to regional development strategies, the important thing is to put knowledge of regional development strategies into practice to achieve concrete development. Regional development strategy therefore becomes the ability of the strategist to move the organization, issues, and the country towards the set goals. The nature of the regional development strategy requires the organization to implement quality activities that demonstrate competitive advantage, demonstrate excellence when implemented, and identify aspirations of the practitioner in achieving its goals.
