This research aims to determine the effectiveness of a digital book AI learning package in developing future learner competencies based on the 80/80 effectiveness criterion of the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), and to present guidelines for organizing active learning experiences using digital book AI. Data was collected through questionnaires from a sample group of 42 sixth-grade students in one classroom under the Samut Sakhon Primary Educational Service Area Office during the second semester of the 2023 academic year. A simple random sampling method was used. This research employs a mixed-methods approach. The research instrument used was a 40-item test with an IOC value of 1.00, discrimination index (r) of .41-.52, difficulty index (p) of .61-.72, and reliability coefficient of .91. Data analysis employed percentage (%), mean ( ), and standard deviation (S.D.) using statistical software.
The research results showed that the effectiveness of enhancing learning quality through the developed Digital Book AI for basic education students was 86.60/84.58, comprising: 1) knowledge and understanding of features; 2) classroom services; 3) testing and reporting; 4) group interaction; 5) timetables and calendars; 6) parental involvement; 7) registration and workflow; 8) news; 9) analysis; 10) integration with other systems;
11) data collection; and 12) security and access control. This approach connects content with scenario-based learning processes through creative media production using Digital Book AI to develop learners' competencies in communication, thinking, problem-solving, life skills, and technology use. It employs a learning experience design approach that promotes higher-order thinking processes and authentic assessment.
