Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers

Peer reviewers play an important role in maintaining the academic quality and integrity of the Journal.

Confidentiality

Reviewers must treat manuscripts and all associated information as confidential.

Manuscripts must not be shared, distributed, discussed with unauthorized persons, or used for purposes unrelated to peer review.

Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must inform the Editor of any financial, professional, personal, academic, institutional, or other conflict of interest that may affect their ability to provide an impartial review.

Where a significant conflict exists, the reviewer should decline the review invitation.

Objective and Constructive Review

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively and fairly based on their academic content.

Reviews should focus on the significance, methodology, analysis, interpretation, clarity, reliability, and contribution of the work.

Comments should be constructive, specific, and academically justified. Personal criticism of authors is inappropriate.

Academic Integrity

Reviewers should notify the Editor if they identify suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, unethical research, or substantial similarity with another publication.

Reviewers must not require authors to cite publications that are not academically relevant merely for the purpose of increasing citations.

Timeliness

Reviewers should complete their evaluations within the timeframe specified by the Journal. If they are unable to do so, they should promptly inform the Editor.
